Abstract

There is a necessity for a new alternative raw material in the production of antibiotics. The researchers conducted the study to contribute to the prevention and cure of Escherichia Coli, in relation to its outbreak in Germany. The outbreak had a great impact in the increasing number of patients in diarrhea and kidney failure in the said country.  The study was conducted to prove if American Cockroach (Periplaneta Americana) has an ideal antimicrobial effect to the increasing number of Escherichia Coli taken from their great immune system against different bacteria located in their habitat. This project proved that American Cockroach (Periplaneta Americana) could be useful in producing antibiotics against Escherichia Coli.
